Headquartered in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago, IL, book ended by Moody Tongue and Lo Rez Breweries, Drifter Mfg. is a new small business with a distinct unique focus on handmade, artisan grooming products designed for men produced with American craft beer.
“Drifter Soap Manufacturing entered the men’s grooming world to fill a void whereas real men, looking for real handmade products designed for them, are missing,” stated Christopher Tepas, Founder of Drifter Mfg. “My goal was to do something different and unique for men. Our small batch and handcrafted approach and desire to make unique and nonconventional men’s grooming supplies was inspired by the craft brewing industry. We’ve actually taken it a step further and make our grooming products with craft brewing ingredients such as beer, hops, and spent grain. Drifter produces all of its men’s grooming products in house at their Chicago manufacturing facility. In addition to their unique approach to ingredients, Drifter also only formulates their products in ‘bar’, not liquid formats. This unique approach produces soap, beard wash, shampoo, and shave bars that smell amazing while being all named after the hops that are infused into each product. The company also manufacturers all-natural beard oil that carries the same theme by utilizing hop infused oils within each product.
