Order HopSlam, El Segundo Power Plant & Speedway Cans
We have some hoppy heavy hitters from our partners at Bine and Vine Bottle Shop. The oh-so-coveted Bell’s HopSlam is in stock and the just-bottled-this-morning El Segundo Power Plant Triple IPA. Not only that, you can get your hands on the brand spanking new AleSmith Brewing Speedway Stout in 16 oz. cans.
Bell’s Brewery HopSlam – Starting with six different hop varietals added to the brew kettle & culminating with a massive dry-hop addition of Simcoe hops, Bell’s Hopslam Ale possesses the most complex hopping schedule in the Bell’s repertoire. Selected specifically because of their aromatic qualities, these Pacific Northwest varieties contribute a pungent blend of grapefruit, stone fruit and floral notes. A generous malt bill and a solid dollop of honey provide just enough body to keep the balance in check, resulting in a remarkably drinkable rendition of the Double India Pale Ale style. Hopslam is best enjoyed as fresh as possible.
El Segundo Brewing Power Plant TIPA – Bottled this morning and delivered less than an hour ago! A Triple India Pale Ale hopped with heavy doses of Mosaic, Simcoe, Citra, Nelson plus more hops both in the kettle and in the dry hop. Juicy lemon, tangerine, pineapple and melon hop flavors, piney, resiny bitterness, alcohol is obvious but not over the top, big bodied but not syrupy, malt character is honey and toffee although not sweet since the hops are so dominant. A really awesome Triple IPA that’s BETTER than Pliny the Younger (in my humble opinion!) Get it while it’s this fresh!

AleSmith Speedway Stout 16 oz. Cans – Speedway Stout’s ominous, pitch-black appearance has become a hallmark of this modern-day classic. Chocolate and roasted malts dominate the flavor, supported by notes of dark fruit, toffee, and caramel. A healthy dose of locally-roasted coffee from Ryan Bros. Coffee, Inc. added to each batch brings out the beer’s dark chocolate flavors and enhances its drinkability. Despite its intensity, Speedway Stout’s fine carbonation and creamy mouthfeel make it very smooth and surprisingly easy to drink. This beer ages very well and will continue to mature for many years to come.
