Southampton Publick House To Host Annual Fall Harvest Beer Dinner THURSDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2009 Menu to feature local seafood, cheeses and duck with award-winning Southampton Ales & Lagers.
Southampton Publick House is hosting their Annual Fall Beer Dinner on Thursday, October 8 at 7pm. Tickets are $60 per person (including tax and tip) and reservations are required.
Call 631-283-2800 to reserve your seat today. Executive Chef Carl Holfelder has prepared a Tasting Hour and 4-course dinner featuring local seafood, cheeses and duck paired with complimenting Southampton Ales and Lager.
During the Tasting hour, guests will sample Southampton Oyster Company oysters paired with Double White, smoked and cured meats paired with Altbier and assorted cheeses from Catapano Dairy Farms (Peconic, NY) paired with IPA.
Dinner will begin with a first course of Provincial Tomatoes with fresh Mozzarella paired with Southampton Saison, followed by the second course of Smoked Long Island Duck breast (from Jurgielewicz Duck Farm, Moriches, NY) with endives and braised peaches joined with North Fork Fresh Hops Ale. The evening’s main course will be Oven-roasted Pork Loin with stuffed wild mushrooms and whipped Yukon Gold potatoes served with the 2009 Oktoberfest Lager. Home-made Butterscotch Cheesecake with Southampton Pumpkin Ale concludes this menu celebrating Autumn and the best in craft beer.
