Have FRESH El Segundo, Modern Times and NEW Almanac Beers Shipped to Your Door
Happy Friday Fam Bam! We are back with some super FRESH IPAS from El Segundo and Modern Times Beer as well as some new beers from Almanac Beer. Can’t get these fresh beers at your neighborhood shop yet? Don’t worry, InsideTheCellar.com has you covered.
El Segundo Two 5 Left – Freshies Club – this beer will be bottling 2/27/15 – any order containing this beer will be shipped out on the bottling date. A brazenly hop-forward beast of a beer, with a huge passionfruit nose. A subtle caramel character provides a malt backbone to shoulder the massive amount of dry-hopping that gives this beer its unique aroma and hop flavor. Two 5 Left is the runway that sends planes screaming right over El Segundo. When it came to naming their first Double IPA, it fit the bill perfectly. ABV 8.5%
Modern Times Booming Rollers – Booming Rollers is a showcase for the juicy awesomeness of Citra hops. These new wave American hops impart a remarkable mango/citrus aroma and flavor, which we’ve amplified with the dark stone fruit character of New Zealand-grown Motueka hops. Good ol’ American Centennial hops provide a touch of citrus balance to this tropical fruit part, and the malt body is just assertive enough to support Booming Rollers’ snappy bitterness. It’s a party in your mouth and all the beautiful people are invited! ABV: 6.8% IBU: 75
Almanac Valley of the Heart’s Delight – This sour ale is inspired by the agricultural history of the Santa Clara Valley. Long before it became Silicon Valley, it was known as the Valley of The Heart’s Delight, a fertile basin overflowing with fruit orchards. Brewed with foraged apricots, loquats and cherries handpicked by the Garden To Table non-profit, this collaborative beer celebrates and supports their mission to promote urban farming in San Jose. ABV 7%
Almanac Cognac Barrel Noir – This very limited release is our love letter to barrel aging. We started with a huge imperial stout brewed with a selection of our favorite dark-roasted malts. Then we aged the beer for over a year in Rémy Martin Cognac puncheons—double sized oak barrels—where the beer breathed in the rich oak, vanilla and Cognac aromatics of the barrels, resulting in this contemplative black ale, overflowing with bold coffee, chocolate and brandy flavors. ABV 10%
