“Barcelona & Beyond” (June 6-12) offers a thrilling, event-packed immersion in the city’s exciting breweries, brewpubs, tapas bars, and beer-release parties. It also takes us on journeys to small craft breweries in the mountainous countryside and beach towns, and includes a very special day at Mediona, our favorite remote beer festival. At each stop, we’ll have exclusive access to the brewers, as we share food and drinks with the most important figures in the Catalan craft beer scene. And in between all the beer, we’ll visit the best natural wine bars, take a cava tour, and dine on the tastiest local cuisine! “Franconia” (July 25-Aug 1) is all about tradition. Here, in the northern part of Bavaria, in southern Germany, is the last surviving Old World beer culture, a place where beer is a part of everyday life like no other. The tour’s hub, Bamberg, is a UNESCO Heritage Site and the place where we’ll enjoy an exclusive dinner with the brewer at Mahrs Bräu. In the surrounding countryside, we’ll introduce you to some of the very finest old-craft breweries in the world, each offering their delicious lagers served in traditional biergartens.
