WHAT: Cider Summit, the region’s largest cider tasting, is heading into the last week of early bird pricing for Cider Summit Chicago (available through January 15). Cider Summit Chicago celebrates local, regional and international artisanal ciders and cidermakers. The event offers an amazing array of ciders, meads and more (over 180 from 53 different producers)—check out the complete list here.
Products come from 13 states and 7 countries; with 70 selections from IL/MI/WI alone. And over 75 selections never previously poured at this event. Meet cidermakers, try new releases and vote via text to crown the champion of this year’s Oaked Cider Challenge.
Additional highlights include a Cider Cocktail Lounge area, presented by Old Forester, expanded food pairings and the Cider Summit Store featuring event merchandise and various cider souvenirs. For the second consecutive year, Cider Summit will debut its annual collaboration cider at the Chicago event. This year’s collaboration partner is Tieton Cider Works.

TICKETS:
All event tickets will be sold online in advance via the event website – CiderSummit.com.
VIP Tickets: (limited quantity) $40 per session until January 15 & increase to $45 per session after.
VIP tickets include express entry to the event, a souvenir tasting glass, 18 tasting tickets, and a $2 donation to Heartland Alliance.
General Admission Tickets: $30 per session until January 15 & increase to $35 per session after.

A separate ticket is required for each session. This event is strictly 21 & over – no exceptions.

Cider Summit CHI will showcase nearly 200 ciders, meads, and cider cocktails including regional favorites and international classics. It is a unique opportunity for guests to meet and greet cidermakers and taste popular and new releases. As part of the Oaked Cider Challenge, presented by Enartis, several cider selections will be created specifically for the event. Attendees vote via text to crown the champion.
