(Hunter, NY) – TAP New York Craft Beer & Food Festival, hosted at Hunter Mountain, has been voted as one of the top five best beer festivals in the country by USA Today. TAP® New York was nominated this past February in a nationwide contest to decide which of a select twenty beer festivals are the best in the country.
The contest was held by USA Today, and fans of each nominated festival across the country were able to cast their vote daily until noon this past Monday. Earlier today, it was announced that TAP® New York is the 5th best beer festival in the country, also making it the best beer festival in the entire Northeast.
TAP® New York Craft Beer & Food Festival is held at Hunter Mountain for two days during the last full weekend in April. TAP®-NY will take place in just over a month from now on the 28th and 29th of April. The festival takes place rain or shine and is held in Hunter Mountain’s Base Lodge as well as outside under several large tents.
A map of the festival with all 120+ New York State breweries in attendance and their locations will be made available before the festival, making it easy for beer enthusiasts to plan their tasting route ahead of time. Aside from tasting over 400+ carefully crafted NYS beers, guests can also enjoy a number of food options, live music and beautiful views of the surrounding Northern Catskill Mountains – all of which is included in the ticket price.
Discounted tickets for TAP® New York are available now through April 27th for both Saturday and Sunday, as well as multi-day passes and tickets for designated drivers. Guests are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance as rates increase at the door. All festival attendees must be 21 years of age or older to attend TAP® New York.
