DC Beer Week – Two Big Beer Dinners Lined Up
The inaugural 2009 Washington, DC Beer Week will feature more than a dozen domestic and international breweries and involve restaurants and bars from all sectors of the district. The 5-day extravaganza of beer tasting events will give consumers an opportunity to meet and greet with brewers, experience food and beer pairings, and learn about beer styles and the history of brewing. Here are two beer dinners, one at Granville Moore’s, and one at The Reef.

Course 1: Platter of two dips, lemony olive tapenade with hopus and muhummara for the twilight, with lavash.

Course 2: Chicken pate ravioli with a bundle of long and flat beans.
Beer Pairing- Brasserie De Koninck “Winter Koninck”.
Course 3: Preserved chili stuffed with rice and sausage.

Course 4: Duck breast stuffed with chestnuts and cherries
