Dock Street Announces Lineup of Philly Beer Week 2013 Events
Before the chaos of Philly Beer Week begins, a word about a few standout events with Dock Street…
Philadelphia Premiere of Michael Jackson Beer Hunter
Monday June 3rd, 7-10pm @ Dock Street
‘Beer Hunter’ is the documentary film about the beloved and influential beer and whiskey journalist Michael Jackson. His thoughts and words on beer inspired and shaped the course of the craft beer renaissance in the US. It is the effect of Michael’s influence that brings us together to celebrate Philly Beer Week today.
Enjoy a night of good company, good chatter and good beer as we pay tribute to one of beer’s finest! Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door. Tickets include two beers, a whiskey toast, hors d’oeuvres and a donation that will be made to Parkinson research foundation. Carolyn Smagalski and other friends of Michael will regale us with stories. In words that Rosemarie and Michael shared just weeks before he died, “Here’s to Love and Passion.” And you are invited for a night of just that.
