Barrelhouse Brewing Co.’s Central Coast Sour Fest
(Paso Robles, CA) – The Central Coast Sour Fest is a unique event created by the team at BarrelHouse Brewing Co. of Paso Robles, in conjunction with the charity Lifewater International of San Luis Obispo. Their focus is to bring together craft beer enthusiasts and breweries who share a passion for sour and wild ales and help raise funds to build a water source for a community of 300 people.
This event is different. The goal is to celebrate craft beer while creating a unique experience for both the brewers and attendees alike while raising dollars and awareness for an important charity.
The Brewers are rewarded with a weekend full of festivities, starting with a reception bonfire complete with delicious local foods and camping, live bluegrass music, and a bottle share. The following day begins with breakfast and a round of Disc Golf at a local course. Afterward, the Brewers will gather to share their Sour and Wild creations with a limited group of 750 craft beer enthusiasts. The night will end with live music, more camping, and games in BarrelHouse Brewing Co.’s new Sour Facility.
The main event on Saturday, September 24th will host well over 50 limited sour and wild beers from breweries as far away as Montreal, Canada. With only 750 tickets available, their goal is shorter lines with plenty of beer for everyone to enjoy. Local food purveyors will showcase their delicious flavors with a healthy portion of food included with each ticket. You can also expect live music from BarrelHouse’s amphitheater as well as outdoor games, tums stations, carbonated hop water, and more!
