Smog City Brewing – Back To The Future Day October 21,2015
(Torrance,CA) – Smog City is a lot of things. An L.A. Brewery, lovers of experimental, barrel-aged and sour beers, makers of one killer coffee beer but the moniker they are most proud of is Geeky. The self-proclaimed Geekiest Brewery in LA County is throwing the arguably Geekiest Event of the Year. ..second only perhaps to Pi Day which Smog City celebrates with Pi-inspired beers on 3.14(March 14th).
Oct 21st, 2015 is the actual day Marty McFly travels to in the second movie. Smog City will celebrate one of the best movie trilogies of our time with their own Back to The Future Day and movie inspired beers! Taproom opens at 4pm with a screening of the trilogy on the big wall, specialty BTTF movie inspired one-offs and the mouth wateringly delicious 1.21 Gigawatt IIIPA; Smog City’s first official Triple IPA release.
So strap on your hoverboards, self-velcroing sneakers, BTTF t-shirts and red puffy jackets and shoot on down to Smog City for a night of geeky, 80’s style reveling. The first movie will begin promptly at 4pm, so get there early and help everyone cheer for your favorite characters all night long!
Those coming in BTTF gear will get $1 off all pints all night. Special giveaways for the best costumes will take place all night long.
