SF Beer Week 2012 Events Schedule Is Nearly Doubled
If you were already having a difficult time organizing your SF Beer Week itinerary, you’ll be overwhelmed at high noon today when our schedule nearly doubles in size. After a series of early release dates in December and January, we’ve decided to unleash a backlog of events that have clogged our system.
Bay Area bars, restaurants and breweries have been hard at work finalizing their festivities and we think you’re going to be thrilled by what you find. Here’s a little taste of what you can expect:
Battle of the Bay – East vs. West
Barclays Restaurant and Pub
Monday, Feb. 13, 6:00pm – 10:00pm
We put together the biggest bunch of local breweries from both sides of the bay and asked them to put their best effort forth. We will pair and declare! The defending East Bay Champs will look to defend their 2011 title but will have to impress. The West will be gunning for them. May the better side win! Cheers!
It’s a Lost Abbey/Port Afternoon!
Beer Revolution
Saturday, Feb. 11, 5:00pm – 9:00pm
Surfs up! Matt Wells and Lost Abbey/Port will be here to help pour some of their magnificent brews! Maybe with a surprise or three!!
Meet the Auburn Alehouse Brewer
Bobby G’s Pizzeria
Thursday, Feb. 16, 7:00pm – 11:00pm
Brian Ford will be in to answer questions and to discuss beer in general. He has a rich brewing history and a wealth of beer knowledge. A wide selection of their beers will be on tap for your drinking pleasure and we’ll be showcasing a special new beer from Auburn Alehouse.made just in time for SF Beer Week.
As you scroll through the schedule just look for the “new” event tag, which should make your hunt for fun a little easier. Going forward we’ll be releasing new events several times per week as they pile up in our inbox. Stay tuned!
