SanTan Brewing & El Palacio Team Up For A Zesty Fiesta Of Culinary Fusion
El Palacio of Chandler pairs up with SanTan Brewing Company for a zesty fiesta of culinary fusion on April 5th.
Chandler, AZ – Teaming up to bring the flavorful taste of authentic Mexican cuisine paired with the superior taste of craft beer, El Palacio of Chandler and SanTan Brewing Company have created a special dinner fiesta of epic proportions – a match made in heaven for any foodie. On April 5, 2012 hungry patrons will enjoy a five course “off the menu” El Palacio dinner paired with five of SanTan Brewing Company’s best craft beers. This dinner event will run from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
The fiesta kicks off with a taste bud tantalization like none other – prickly pear guacamole, spicy red chili popcorn and a cilantro pesto shrimp with cilantro sour cream dipping sauce and strawberry salsa paired with SanTan’s Hefeweizen. This sweet unfiltered Bavarian wheat beer has a delicious banana-clove character which pairs perfectly with sweet dishes.
Next up a stuffed avocado truffle salad paired with Epicenter followed by the third course, shrimp & coconut civiche which is complimented wonderfully by SanTan Brewing Company’s HopShock. The intense bitterness and distinctive citrus-pine flavor of HopShock adds a crisp malt depth to any spicy dish.
Don’t quit on us, the best is yet to come. The fourth course will feature a red chili mole braised chicken paired with the robust flavor of Devil’s Ale. Finally, relax and enjoy the final course of Fruititas made with a trio of sauces including sweet mole, a spicy strawberry compote and a Mexican style crème anglaise. The sweet mole sauce is prepared using SanTan’s Sex Panther—a double chocolate porter. This dish will pair with Mr. Pineapple – a fruity wheat ale infused with fresh pineapple.
