Saint Arnold Santo De Mayo Pub Crawl This Saturday, May 4
Our Midtown Pub Crawl is this Saturday, May 4, and we will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo with Santo de Mayo. Come adorned in your Santo-wear. The prize for completing the Pub Crawl is a special Santo de Mayo pint glass.
Here are the details:
Pub Crawl will be open house format starting at 2:00 PM. We will be signing tickets at all six of the first six stops for four hours so people can split up between the establishments.
You will get your ticket at whichever stop you decide to visit first. But, VERY IMPORTANT, we will only be handing out the tickets between 2:00 and 3:00 PM. Thus, you still need to start between 2:00 and 3:00.
Then, at 6:00 PM, everybody will gather at one final stop, and that is where we will award the Santo de Mayo glasses. We will have a large supply, so don’t worry about not getting a glass. And as always, designated drivers are both eligible for the award and encouraged to attend. So here is the layout:
For legal reasons, we are only giving hints as to where we will be. Think you can decipher the code?
Between 2:00 and 6:00 PM:
500 block of Gray St.: Imagine something larger than a pig flying.
2300 block of Louisiana: A beer garden from the Emerald Isle.
200 block of Gray St.: Where you wish you had a swing.
2000 block of Bagby St.: A heavenly place to tailgate.
2400 block of Bagby St.: Imagine a poodle carved from a tree.
2400 block of Brazos St.: What you will be doing and where you will be doing it.
The 6:00 PM final stop:
2300 block of Brazos: Anything owned by President Wilson when he was young.
