Renegade Brewing Turns Four
Denver, CO – It’s hard to believe all that has happened in the last four years. A small company brewing beer for their tasting room has turned into a 20+ employee manufacturing brewery with beer available across three states. The last year alone has been a big one for us as we opened a production brewery on 1st and Santa Fe, launched Kansas and Nebraska as our first out-of-state markets, and debuted four new products.
For the third year in a row, Renegade Brewing is celebrating our anniversary with a block party in front of the taproom on the 900 Block of 9th Avenue (between Santa Fe and Kalamath). The party will take place on Saturday, June 27 from 3-10 PM. A stage on the west end of the street will feature local musicians throughout the day in the following order: The Unsiblings, Animal Electricity, U Ain’t Nevaherd, and ending the evening with headliner Josh Moorehead and the Guest List. The party will host five food trucks including Matt’s Snack Shack, Baba & Pop’s Kitchen, Smokestack 70, Wong Way Veg, and Em’s Ice Cream. The party is family and pet friendly.
This would not be a Renegade party without a wide selection of Offensively Delicious beers. Two outdoor beer tents, 12 taps in the taproom, and an exclusive firkin room will keep you with a variety of options. Renegade’s flagships will all be represented- Redacted, Endpoint, 5:00, Consilium, and Hiatus. In addition to the usual line-up, we will offer some summer seasonals such as 5:00 in Bangkok (Afternoon Ale with Lemongrass and Ginger), A Nice Pear (Double Wit with Pear), Smolder (Rauch beer), and Sunday Morning (Coffee Strong Ale). As a nod to the last year, we have been cellaring a few of our favorites- Disarm (Pumpkin Farmhouse), Hypocrisy (Pale Stout), Berbere (Imperial Chocolate Oatmeal Stout with spices), and Depravity (Imperial Peanut Butter Cup Milk Stout)- all in limited quantities. That’s not all, as a special treat our staff has paired up to create 12 unique firkins to feature throughout the day. The back brewing area will feature two to three firkins at any time with unique combinations best kept secret until they are tapped.
As always, we encourage safe and responsible transportation. Denver Bicycle Cafe will offer a free bike valet for party guests. Renegade is conveniently located near a Denver B-Cycle station, the 10th and Osage RTD Lightrail stop, and other RTD bus routes. A promotional discount through Uber is also available with the code: RENEGADEBREW. The location is also convenient to Taxi and Lyft services.
We hope you can come out and celebrate this milestone with us. If you’ve been in our taproom, hopefully you have seen and felt our dedication to community. You are not only our consumers, but our inspiration. Thank you for the last four years and the hope of many more.
Let’s party!
