Oregon’s Mississippi Ave. Street Fair Debuts Upgraded “Local Brew Garden”
Last year’s sold-out organic beer garden was so well received by Mississippi Street Fair craft beer aficionados that for 2010 the fair returns with an expanded focus on “local” breweries…and more beer!
July 10, 2010 / 10am to 9pm
-Presenting locally produced craft beers from seven Oregon breweries
-Located at N Mississippi & Shaver – directly across from the Main Stage
-Proceeds benefit The Boise-Eliot Elementary and Albina Youth Opportunity Schools
Sourcing regional product is a cornerstone of the fair’s commitment to sustainability – and is an important factor in choosing the beverages served at the event. Festival promoters scoured the state and neighborhood for the best these craft breweries have to offer. Selections include award winners, organically brewed beers and special seasonal offerings. Beverages on tap will be served frosty cold from a beer trailer provided by Maletis Beverage – honouring our seven regional craft breweries with the professional presentation they deserve!
