Latitude 33 Brewing San Diego Beer Week Events
San Diego, CA – San Diego Beer Week is Here and The Latitude 33 Brewing Crew will be out in force with a week packed full of events.
It’s the single greatest week in craft beerdom, and we, the faithful denizens of one of San Diego’s top 10 breweries, will be celebrating all week long with new beer releases, special tappings, and appearances all over America’s Finest County!
Here’s the short list of where we’ll be and what we’ll be doing (feel free to add these to your own calendar so you never miss a beat):
- Nov 1 – First Friday Keep the Glass Night
We’re kicking off San Diego Beer Week in the Tasting Room with our First Fridayevent, where you get to keep the glass with every pint! - Nov 1 – San Diego Brewer’s Guild: Beer on the Pier VIP Takeover
We’ll be downtown at the Broadway Pier pouring a cask of Dry Hump and celebrating along with the rest of our fellow breweries - Nov 1 – Keep it in the Hood Night at Sublime Ale House
Kevin will be at San Marcos’ Sublime Ale House along with four other local breweries for a North County tap takeover this first night of SDBW. Make sure to check it out if you’re in the area! - Nov 2 – Sour Day at O’Brien’s
It’s all sours at O’Brien’s today and Kevin will be there with a cask of Latitude 33 first sour ever — Vanilla’s Tart, a special version of Vanilla’s Porter aged in wine barrels with sour cherries. This is a super limited beer, so get there early! - Nov 2 – San Diego Brewer’s Guild: Beer on the Pier Festival
San Diego. Beer. Festival on the pier. Need we say any more? - Nov 5 – Latitude 33 Night – The Biere Garden in Encinitas
Join us at the Biere Garden in Encinitas for a Latitude 33 tap takeover! - Nov 6 – Sunset Dinner – Dini’s by the Sea in Carlsbad
Wednesday Kevin will be at Dini’s on the coast in Carlsbad for a sunset dinner and Latitude 33 beer pairing. - Nov 7 – Beer Release – South Santa Fe Imperial Pilsner
Thursday we’ll be releasing our tribute to the city of Vista’s 50th Anniversary, South Santa Fe Imperial Pilsner. This will be the first tapping of the beer, so get to the tasting room for the premiere and be prepared to be wowed by this smooth, 10% ABV pils. - Nov 7 – Latitude 33 Night at Slater’s 50/50 in San Diego
Down in Liberty Station it’ll be a Latitude 33 tap takeover with two brand new boozey beers — Slater’s 50/50 2013, a smoked porter with Calvados brandy soaked oak, and Murder by Death, our imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels for over a year! - Nov 8 – Beer Release: Black Friday
Meanwhile back in the tasting room we’ll be tapping a special keg of beer we’re calling Black Friday. It’s Vanilla’s Porter infused with Black Currants making a for a really fantastic beer. There’s only one five gallon keg of this rare beauty, so we recommend you get there early in order to enjoy it! - Nov 8 – Latitude 33 Night at Kelly’s Public House, Rancho Bernardo
Friday night Kevin will be tipping the glass to his Irish ancestors with Latitude 33 night at Kelly’s in Rancho Bernardo. - Nov 9 – Double Tap Beer Release – Slater’s 50/50 and Murder by Death
Finally, we’re closing out Beer Week with the two beers we premiered for a lucky few at Slater’s on Thursday. In the tasting room we’ll be tapping Slater’s 50/50 smoked porter with Calvados brandy oak, and Murder by Death imperial stout aged 14 months in bourbon barrels. We’ll be throwing them on at noon and we’ll have chococate and food to pair as well, so make sure to wind up your week on the 33rd parallel with these two booze-infused beers!
