It’s Time To Celebrate Sprecher’s 25th Anniversary
Glendale, WI – Twenty- five years ago, in 1985, Randy Sprecher established the first microbrewery in Milwaukee since Prohibition.
On September 25th, join Randy and all the employees at Sprecher Brewing Company for their “Thank You Wisconsin!” celebration of this silver anniversary featuring an on-site party from noon to 10pm, and the release of Sprecher’s limited edition Kriek (Cherry) Lambic made with Wisconsin organic malt and Door County cherry juice.
During the day there will be open house style tours along with a host of family-friendly activities, including ping-pong (courtesy of SPiN Milwaukee), Root Beer float drinking and brat eating contests, games, a DJ, Dachshund races and costume contest (entry forms and details available at www.sprecherbrewery.com), college football and more.
In the evening, get dressed for the Most Authentic German Costume and Randy Sprecher look-a- like contests, music by the Rabid Aardvarks, and the release of Sprecher’s Kriek Lambic at 5:00pm.
Cost: $6 in advance or $8 day of event (21+) – includes commemorative pint glass and one free beer. $4 for minors. Special boot deal: Purchase a 1 liter plastic boot for $10 and receive a party ticket, commemorative pint glass, and refill discounts during the party. Tickets and boot can be purchased at the Sprecher Gift Shop, 11am-6pm, Monday –Sunday.
