Inaugural Chicago Craft Beer Festival
The inaugural Chicago Craft Beer Festival at St. Michael in Old Town, held on the grounds of the iconic parish, will celebrate microbrews from both the Midwest and throughout the entire U.S. Held over three days, this new event — for beer lovers and non-beer lovers alike — will take on the flair of an authentic Belgian beer fest.
Visitors will be treated to two enticing fest components (which they can mix and match if they wish!)
Date: Friday to Sunday, June 29-July 1
Time: Friday: 5pm to 10pm | Saturday: 11am to 10pm | Sunday: 11am to 9pm
Location: St. Michael in Old Town (1633 N. Cleveland Ave.) | Chicago
- The first is a Chicago-meets-Europe street fest which includes food, music, arts & crafts and, of course, beers. Admission to this food, music and art fest only is $5.
- The second is a stand-alone area of the fest that will host daily “beer tastings.” There will be one tasting on Friday evening, and one on both Saturday and Sunday afternoons. More than 75 different beers will be showcased at these tastings (on Friday only, limited, unique beers will be available and a portion of the tasting fee will be donated to St. Michael in Old Town).
- Tickets to these stand-alone beer tastings at Chicago Craft Beer Festival can be purchased in advance (see below) OR on-site. (NOTE: Tasting session tickets are limited to 3,000 per session.)
