Friday May 18th Is Officially Ballast Point Day

It is upon us once again.  Friday, May 18th, is officially Ballast Point Day in the great city of San Diego!  It has been two years since our enlightened City Council proclaimed it as such.  How time files.  This year the official Ballast Point celebration is at Slaters 50/50 in Liberty Station.  They will have a killer selection of Ballast Point brews including Victory at Sea, Sea Monster Stout, Fathom IPL and Tongue Buckler IRA, among others.  If you haven’t been and had the 50/50 burger now is the time.  The patty is 50% ground beef and 50% ground bacon (that’s right).  They will dress it up any way you could imagine and they also serve fried pickles.  Come hungry and thirsty, you will leave fat and happy.

For our Thursday special we are bringing the heat at both of our brewery locations.  Habanero Sculpin and Roasted Serrano Pale Ale will both be on tap and available for growler fills!  These brews are normally reserved for special occasions such as beer dinners and tap takeovers, but we thought it was time we offered them up to our close friends.  Stop by and taste the fire with our crew or take some home and impress yours.
