El Segundo Brewing Hammerland Day One
(El Segundo,CA) – For those who don’t know, one of the stars of the emerging Los Angeles craft beer scene is El Segundo Brewing. El Segundo has a strong portfolio of hoppy pales ranging from 5% up to 12%. During this past San Francisco Beer Week, El Segundo brewed and entered a brand new Double IPA named Hammerland into the Hayward Bistro Double IPA festival, and won the gold medal. In celebration of their big win, and to promote fresh local beer, El Segundo is going on tour with a fresh batch of Hammerland. Read on for their big Day One event, and other Hammerland events around the Greater Los Angeles area.
We start bottling at 5am so we can get all this beer packaged and have the biggest party we have yet. Our first Medal of any kind.. and we want to THROW DOWN!

Taproom opens at noon and start selling bottles / cases, pints, what have you. Plan to take “lunch”.. just don’t plan on going back to work.
We will have flatbreads available all day.. that should be enough to keep putting beer in your mouth, right?
Around 4pm we will open the overflow room, as you poor folks who HAVE to put in a full day at work start to arrive so we can accommodate the crowd.

You’ll have access to whatever you want though… and our barkeep will grab it for you from the front. Plus, you’ll get to be drinking out of a brand new glass we are going to be implementing once we move into the new space.. which you’ll be standing in!

Day One Dankess Drops
Can’t make it to the brewery that day? … we’ve got you covered.
For Power Plant we started a new promotion we are calling Day One Dankess. For the first try, we delivered beer on the day of bottling to about 15 accounts. We made them take big case loads to make it worth our while.. and they ALL completely demolished our expecatations. Half of them were sold out DAY-OF…
So this time.. we are taking it up a notch, and we are going to deliver to about 40 accounts across LA, OC and San Diego, as well as work with Craft Beer Guild, our distributor in Ventura, Santa Barbara, Riverside and San Bernardino to get the freshest beer possible in as many people’s hands.
