Eagle Rock Brewery – Another Woman’s Beer Forum and HomeBrew Course
Eagle Rock Brewery in Los Angeles, CA has a few upcoming events you can’t afford to miss. Ting is holding another Woman’s Beer Forum and the brewers will be holding a home brewing seminar on water in the context of home brewing. Cheers!
Woman’s Beer Forum – Spring Flowers
It’s nearly here – the third Wednesday of the month will bring about our next Women’s Beer Forum. I’ve got an amazing flight of beers set up, with some really hard-to-find beers, so you don’t wanna miss this one! The event will take place at the brewery from 7p-9p on Wednesday April 20, 2011 so get it on your calendar and come join the fun!
This month’s flight is all about flowers. Yep, that’s right, in honor of spring I’ll be presenting a flight of beers with significant floral notes or with flowers as adjuncts. It’ll be another super fun flight with flavors and styles that will appeal to a broad range of palates. So whether you’re a newbie, a connoisseur, or just beer-curious, come and join me for another evening that’s just for the ladies! It’s a great way to try rare beers, and meet new friends to go out drinking with! To ensure that we have enough beer, please rsvp on the website so that I have a rough headcount.
We’ll have another female-run food truck, Mandoline Grill, out that night! They make the best banh mi this side of the Pacific Ocean so arrive both thirsty and hungry! =)
Water Water Everywhere: Advanced Homebrew Water Course
Advanced Homebrew Water course with guest speaker John Palmer
APRIL 26th, 2011
The next class in our beer education series will cover water. Yes there is more to water than it just getting in the way of drinking more beer.

As well as how to evaluate your water for particular styles of beer, and more. All are welcome to enroll, however this class will be highly technical and is geared toward advanced homebrewers.
In order to prepare course materials, have enough sample beer, etc. everyone attending the class must be registered via online store. (Please make sure you don’t have any scheduling conflicts before registering, the course fee is nonrefundable!)
