Celebrate American Craft Beer Week With Moon River Brewing

Savannah, GA – Sign up now to attend these events held at Moon River Brewing, 21 W. Bay St., in honor of American Craft Beer Week (May 16-22):

May 16, 8 p.m. – Georgia Craft Beer Rally. Meet some local and state legislators, and tell them how you feel about the state of craft beer in Georgia. Mingle with Georgia brewers, beer-loving friends, homebrewers and distributors. Play trivia games. Bid at the silent auction. Enjoy complimentary drinks, hors d’oeuvres, cheeses and desserts specially paired with Georgia beers. Buy tickets from a Moon River Brewing bartender: $25 in advance, $35 at the door.

May 18, 7-9 p.m. – Beer School. Join brewmaster John Pinkerton for an evening of brewing education and fun. He will share his insights into the brewing profession and the fundamentals of sensory analysis through beer tastings. $20 per person (includes beer samples and light appetizers). My 21, 7 p.m. – Women’s Beer Tasting. Join brewer’s assistant Jamee Parsons for a sampling of Moon River Brewing beers paired with light appetizers. We will discuss ingredients, processes and flavors. Women only. $10 per person. Space is limited. Email to reserve a seat.

Every day from 6-8 p.m. – Guest bartenders. A Quality Assurance team member will perform as a guest bartender. Each will be profiled on the Moon River Brewing Facebook page, and each will sell pints of her or his favorite Moon River Brewing pints at the bar for a special price. Every day during Happy Hour (4-7 p.m.) – Certified beer geek specials. One of our specially trained servers/bartenders will present a specialty beer paired with an appetizer to showcase her or his knowledge.
