The First Ever Capital Bacon & Beer Bash brings all the squealin’ good fun to Metro DC at the Sunset Room, National Harbor
National Harbor, MD- Heavy Sea’s brings their Bacon & Beer Bash to DC for the first time at the Sunset Room in National Harbor.
The Capital Bacon & Beer Bash will take over the Sunset Room on November 20, 2010. The Bacon-Extravaganza has 2 BIG sessions, the first session runs from 12pm-4pm, and the second runs from 5pm-9pm.
Included in each ticket purchase is unlimited sampling of more than 10 Heavy Seas beers, over 10 bacons from ALL around the world, and some of the best bacon dishes from up to 20 local restaurants. Also featured at the event: live music and a whole hog butchering demonstration. Each of the restaurant’s bacon dishes submitted will be judged for a grand prize of $1,000 voted for by the attending audience.
Participating Baltimore- Washington Metro area restaurants include (to date): Parfections, LLC making their Decadent Dark Chocolate Bacon Bark and Heavy Seas Infused Chocolate Truffles, Eleven Courses’ bringing their Candied Bacon Lollipop with Jalapeno Sweet Corn Crème, Tbonz Grille & Pub creating their Crabby Pig-Crab dip wrapped in bacon, Aromi D’Italia Café will be serving Beer Gelato Ice Cream with Maple Bacon Gelato Ice Cream, Grandville Moore’s is making Bacon and Bleu Cheese Mussels, Clementines’ serving Chicken Liver Pate’ with Duroc Green Mountain Maple Liquor, Puddin’ Pie’s Catering is bringing their Classic Avacado BLT’s, Bluegrass Tavern will have their Bacon Jam & Pimento Cheese, Loveless Café will be serving Bacon Popcorn, and many more. In addition, guests can enjoy Phil Flash’s Piggy Candy, new Bacon Soda and other surprises.
Bacons sampled will include: Bourbon Flavored Bacon, Jalepeno Bacon, Maple Flavored Bacon, Peppered Encrusted Bacon, Honey BBQ Bacon, Apple Cinnamon Bacon, Duck Bacon, Cottage Bacon, Juniper Bacon, Applewood Smoked Bacon and many more!
Live music from Dirty Secret and Junkyard Saints will be playing throughout the event, taking over the Sunset Room with their own version of New Orleans party-music.
Admission to the event is $65-$85 for each session and includes admission and unlimited sampling of food and beer.
