Brew Something LA Presents The Beauty Of The Barrel
An LA Beer Week Celebration of Barrel-Aged Beer and Spirits Benefitting the Virginia Avenue Project
Santa Monica, Ca – Distillers have long been aging their spirits in barrels and brewers have long been aging their beers in those same barrels. It’s now time to enjoy both barrel-aged spirits and barrel-aged beers in one place at one time.
On September 23rd, from 4-8pm, Brew Something LA and The Victorian will bring you an event unlike any you’ve experienced thus far. Not only will we have 10 breweries all bringing barrelaged beer, but we will have 4 distillers all pouring barrel-aged spirits. In addition, every brewery in attendance will have unlimited pours of their core product. Gotta have palate cleansers!
Tickets Available at beautyofthebarrel.brownpapertickets.com
$40 each, limited to 125 attendees
But we didn’t stop there. We will also have four mixologists creating four distinct cocktails that all feature a barrel-aged spirit and a barrel-aged beer.
Brewers, brewery reps and distillery reps will be attendance to pour their wares and chat about their products.
And no need to feel guilty about consuming all of this barrel-aged excellence because the net proceeds of the event go to benefit a wonderful local charity:
The Virginia Avenue Project. The Virginia Avenue Project provides free after and in-school programs using the Arts in conjunction with long-term, on-on-one mentoring to give children the skills to make creative, courageous, and authentic life choices. Since their inception in 1992: 100% of Project kids have graduated from high school, 95% have gone on to college, and 98% are the first in their families to do so!
