Beer Advisory – City Tap House To Host All-Day Belgian Independence Celebration
Philadelphia, PA – On Wednesday, July 21, the city’s hottest beer-drinking destination, City Tap House will host a Belgian Independence Day Celebration, featuring special pricing on Belgian and Belgian-style ales, rare and unusual beer offerings and a chance to win a pair of tickets to Ommegang’s Belgium Comes to Cooperstown event.
All day, guests can enjoy $3 Ommegang Hennepin Belgian-style wheat beer and $6 Duvel Green Belgian ale draughts. At 6 p.m., the bar will tap kegs of Ommegang Belgian Pale Ale (BPA), a finely made, aromatic Belgian ale and Ommegang Zuur, a collaborative brew with Brouwerij Liefmans of Belgium that is a blend of two aged Liefmans ales, a touch more malt-y and less acidic than a Flemish red. For $12, guests can enjoy a flight of all four beers. Any purchase of Ommegang or Duvel throughout the day enters the guest to win a pair of tickets to Ommegang’s Belgium Comes to Cooperstown event; the drawing will be held at 9 p.m.
