Baltimore definitely has its own unique beer culture and with sponsorship from the region’s top breweries, beer bars, restaurants and media outlets event participants have a plethora of fun and educational events to choose from.
Baltimore Beer Week is here! Have you planned your attack? We’ve listed a few of our favorite events for the first few days.
Pyrate Pub Crawl – Monday Oct 11 6-9pm
The biggest pub crawl of Baltimore Beer Week. Meet up at Max’s 6-7 to register. Get your Heavy Seas bandana & eyepatch then attack the bars! Each of the following will be offering discount prices on all Heavy Seas beers.

Complete our trivia questions then meet us back at Max’s for prizes. Grand Prize is a private brewery tour for 10 with pizza provided by Two Boots $5 to join in the fun. Please register in advance so we know how much booty to bring. No $ due until the night of the event.
Women in Beer – Thursday Oct 14 5 – 7pm @ Max’s Upstairs
A lady centric happy hour hosted by, and for, the women of the Baltimore beer community (but everyone is welcome). Guest speakers include Heavy Seas’ own Kelly Z, Marketing Director & Lynne S, Microbiology Analyst. Joining them are Erin T of Legends and Chris Ames of MD Homebrew! Explore different styles of beer and how to pair them with cheeses & chocolate.
Your $10 ticket includes 4 5oz beer samples highlighting the various beers offered by your hostesses. Chocolate truffles made with beer available for both sampling & purchase compliments of Parfections and special cheese selections.
