Ballast Point – Big Eye Cask Thursday and Chef Dave deJour on Friday!
Don’t let the grey skies fool you. Summer is on! The ocean is starting to warm up, the fair is in full swing, the Padres are in first place and the good times are starting to roll! We are going to kick off the weekend early with a cask of Big Eye IPA on tap Thursday at our Scripps Ranch Brewery. Keg taps at 11am and pours until it is gone. Grab a friend and stop by for a pint of real, good ale.
We keep the festivities going on Friday with a visit from our new friend, Chef Dave deJour! Chef Dave from the gourmet gastro-catering world will drive to our Scripps Ranch location and serve up some of his famous delights. The Dave deJour catering truck will pull up around 4:00 pm and stick around until closing. For the price of a couple beers your Friday night dinner is taken care of…make sure you have your significant other there too. Speaking of the Fourth, both of our brewery locations will have special hours on Sunday. Scripps Ranch and Linda Vista will both be open from 11am-3pm on July 4th. Don’t show up to the party empty handed, bringing along a keg or a growler of some tasty Ballast Point brew will ensure that you are welcome at any back yard barbeque.
