3rd Annual Charlotte Craft Beer Week Starts Today!
Charlotte Craft Beer Week has arrived so get ready to partake in the best craft beer week in the Carolinas! Starting this today and continuing for ten days, it’s slam-packed with tons of beer events all around the Queen City.
CCBW was created with the intention of spreading the craft beer message and utilizes a grassroots movement dedicated to sharing the best locally-available beers from around the globe. CCBW partners with local businesses that support and promote the craft beer community to reward seasoned craft beer drinkers with events that provide opportunities to sample rare beers, meet brewers, further their beer education, and just have a good time.
This is year three of Charlotte’s own craft beer week and there’s something for everyone; beer-lovers, novices, and non-drinkers alike. Brawley’s Beverage is once again hosting the “Black and Blue” kickoff party Friday at the Visulite Theater where rare beers will be accompanied by the live bluegrass sounds of the Moonshine Racers. Come sample from a huge selection of big beers from east coast breweries at “Beasts of the East” hosted by VBGB Beer Garden. Or let loose in an alley full of incredible beers and circus side show “Freak Fest” attractions at Common Market in South End.
