Roaring Fork Beer Co. Announces One Year BDay Bash
Carbondale, CO – The Roaring Fork Beer Company, a seasonally inspired full production brewery located in Carbondale, Colorado, celebrates their one year anniversary with a week of events to coincide with Colorado Craft Beer Week and ending with one huge birthday bash on March 28th, 2015 from 2pm-10pm at the brewery and tasting room.
“This past year has been quite the ride for not only our business and our staff but our family as well. We opened the doors almost a year ago and have hit the ground running. We thankfully got rocked this past year and are feeling humbled and ecstatic by the immense support from the valley. We are very excited to see where the next year takes us and so we wanted to celebrate in a big way by organizing events all week long with special beer releases and more,” says Head Brewer and CEO Chase Engel.
Roaring Fork Beer Company or “RFBC,” will start the events March 21st for Colorado Craft Beer Week by holding raffles, beer dinners, farm to table food and beer pairings, special tapping’s and more at various business’ in the valley as well as at the RFBC tasting room. One of the biggest events will be held at the restaurant Town, in Carbondale for the “Best of the Beermakers” dinner on March 24th where Engel has chosen six of his favorite Colorado craft beers. “I chose these beers because they really are some of the best beers in Colorado and you can find me drinking them regularly. These breweries have been more than just an indulgence for me but also an inspiration for what great craft breweries and business’ should look like. I am excited to share my admiration for these breweries with the community and at one of my personal favorite restaurants in the valley, Town.” Breweries included in the “Best of the Beermakers” dinner are Avery, Odell, Great Divide, Casey Brewing and Blending and Roaring Fork Beer Company.
RFBC’s Birthday Bash will be held at the tap-room on Saturday March 28th from 2pm-10pm. The schedule of events includes live music all day, five different beer tapping’s, farm to table eats by SILO, raffles, tours, free birthday cake provided by Sunshine & Moons and the announcement of the winner for RFBC’s homebrew competition. “This is not only a celebration for the staff but this is our big thank you to the valley who have welcomed us with open arms. Jerod Day (RFBC’s Assistant Brewer) and I have been working around the clock to make sure special brews are ready just in time for the party. Our gratitude will be shown by throwing a party just for our supporters, as we could not do this without them,” says Engel. About the Tasting Room:
RFBC’s tasting room furnishings and signage are the manifestation of craftsman Brad Reed Nelson from Board by Design, who hand built the furnishings from beetle kill pine wood and refurbished barn wood, sourced locally from Distinguished Boards and Beams. Tasting room hours are M-Sat 2pm-8pm with tours by appointment. Locally made food bites are provided by SILO, just a few doors down from RFBC and live music is scheduled regularly in the tasting room.

Chase Engel, a long time professional brewer with a dream of producing creative beers to match the changing seasons, launched Roaring Fork Beer Company in 2013. From their home base in Carbondale Colorado, RFBC brews and packages exceptional beers for distribution throughout the Roaring Fork Valley. The 3,000 square foot brewing facility features a 15 BBL Brewing System; hand crafted in Colorado by Bennet Forgeworks, and will start with a 2,000 BBL Annual Fermentation Capacity. RFBC beers are available in the Roaring Fork Valley in cans, bottles and on draft at bars and restaurants that serve fine craft beer.
