Listermann Brewing 9th Anniversary – October 21, 2017
(Cincinnati, OH) —Listermann Brewing Company is celebrating their 9th year of business operating as a brewery with a fun-filled anniversary party on Saturday, October 21st from 10AM-11PM. The party is to celebrate and honor the successful years of business and the owner Dan Listermann.
The anniversary party will have limited release of three new beers, live screen printing, and hourly special/rare beer tappings. Renegade Grille will be opening up at 10AM that day for the party. The brewery is also giving out monocles and suspenders to the first 70 customers in order to dress up in true Dan Listermann fashion.

“If you don’t make your own beer, you have to drink somebody else’s, so I decided to make my own” Dan Listermann says laughingly. Listermann brewed his first batch of beer in 1973 when he found a Make Your Own Beer Kit at a drug store in Oxford, Ohio. He continued to home brew and began manufacturing home brew parts and shipping them throughout the country in the late eighties prior to opening the home brew store in 1995. “Opening the brewery felt like a natural progression from our home brew supply business. Looking back on it, I couldn’t imagine all of our growth and success in my wildest dreams” says Listermann.
“It’s night and day and then night again from where we started to where we are now. It hasn’t been easy but our customers have made it worth it” says Jason Brewer, General Manager of Listermann Brewing Company.
Here’s a description of the three beers being released in bottles that day:
IX- Blend of barrel aged beers with Walnuts, Vanilla, Coffee, Cinnamon and Natural Flavors added.
Cranium Brunch Stout- Imperial oatmeal stout aged in Maple barrels with vanilla, coffee and maple added.
Satisfied?- Stout with peanuts, chocolate and caramel.
Later in the evening, Listermann Brewing Company will be hosting a comedy show through Bomb’s Away Comedy. The comedy show is a free show from 8-10PM and feature 12 different local comics.
