King Harbor Brewing – Abel Brown Bottle Release 3/28/15
(Redondo Beach,CA) – Abel Brown (aka the breakfast beer, aka the dark beer brewed for the beach) is an American style brown ale that is blended with a cold brew, medium roast, single source, Arabica bean coffee. The aroma is fresh roasted coffee. The taste is a balance of coffee and mild chocolate/toasted characters with a subtle cinnamon note on the end. Abel Brown delivers all of the flavors of a stout or porter, but in the medium body and clean finish of a brown ale.
WHAT: ‘Drink & Draw’ bottle release event. Local tattoo artists, Sam Harang and Chris Bowman of Yer Cheatin’ Heart will be showcasing their art plus enjoy live music in the taproom. Food will be available throughout the night by Son of a Bun.

Way back in November 2012 Will and Tom had a great epiphany – like most brewery founders – that the corporate world was just not for them and greener pastures were out there for the seeking. Loving craft beer and having traveled all over the world searching out small breweries and unique styles they finally figured out exactly what to do – open a brewery, obviously – but they knew that neither of them should be a professional brewer. They sought out someone with a brewer education, years of professional experience, and a propensity for making damn delicious beer – Phil McDaniel (Siebel, Stone, The Bruery).
King Harbor Brewing Company is now Redondo Beach’s only production brewery & tasting room. Since opening in March 2015 they are quickly making waves with their awesome and unique craft beers.
