Schlafly / The Saint Louis Brewery
Founded in 1991 by Tom Schlafly and Dan Kopman, The Saint Louis Brewery’s Tap Room was the first new brewery to open its doors in St. Louis, MO since Prohibition. Twenty-one years on, The Saint Louis Brewery (also known as Schlafly Beer), is set to become the largest locally owned brewery in Missouri. Currently the 44th largest craft brewer in the US, the Schlafly Tap Room and Schlafly Bottleworks restaurants and breweries in St. Louis combine to brew roughly 50,000 barrels of beer each year. Schlafly brews over 50 unique styles of beer throughout the year on draft and in bottles and cans, from year round favorites like Pale Ale and Kölsch, to unique seasonal releases like Coffee Stout, Pumpkin Ale, and Tasmanian IPA.
