The Bruery Provisions Series Mother Funker
From The Bruery – Mother Funker is a sour blonde ale that has been aged for several years in barrels predominately used for Chardonnay. Mother Funker is a seriously sour beer, perhaps the most sour beer we’ve produced so far. Bursting with citrus, funk, and a hint of white vinegar, Mother Funker is for those who like their sours with more sour.
The Bruery – The Bruery Provisions Series Mother Funker – 750 ml. bottle poured into a goblet. 6% abv.
Appearance: Pours a hazy yellow gold with no head.
Aroma: Vinegar, funk, petting zoo.
Taste: White vinegar, lemon, light metallic notes.
Mouthfeel: Puckering.Medium bodied, moderate carbonation.
Overall: Pretty darn sour. Some people love this beer, for me, there are plenty of Bruery sours I prefer to this one. It was priced pretty well, and still make an occasional appearance at The Bruery’s locations, so you still may have a chance to try it for yourself.
