Sun King Osiris Pale Ale

From Sun King – Osiris Pale Ale is an assertive American Pale and is not meant for the timid. Crafted by our Brewers for our Brewers, Osiris blends three choice varieties of American hops to create a spicy, citrus hop punch that is sure to satisfy any hop head. Every batch of Osiris is dry-hopped towards the end of fermentation for maximum hop flavor, aroma and character.

Sun King Brewing – Sun King Osiris Pale Ale – 16 oz. can poured into a pint glass. 5.6% abv.

Appearance: Pours an amber gold with a thin film at the top.

Aroma: Big zesty piney hop blast.

Taste: Bitter, earthy hops, slight spicy sticky malt, finishes dry and piney.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, fairly carbonated.

Overall: Reminded me of the hop and malt profile I find in Pacific North West beers. Not my favorite APA, but drinkable and hoppy.
