Smuttynose S’muttonator

From Smuttynose – S’muttonator is a tasty mixture of German ingredients and good ol’ fashioned New England tenaciousness. Our brewers take 30 hours to brew a single batch of this traditional Double Bock. Take your time and enjoy its rich, malty, and deceptively smooth flavor.

Smuttynose Brewing – Smuttynose S’muttonator – 22 oz. bottle poured into a goblet. 9.2% abv.

Appearance:  Pours a translucent dark amber with a thin tan film a top.

Aroma:  Floral notes, maple syrup , leaf compost.

Taste:  Burnt toast, caramelized pear, light but noticeable Euro hop spice.

Mouthfeel: Full bodied peppery carbonation.

Overall: Bold, tasty, and a little off the beaten path compared to some classic German doppelbocks.
