Green Flash Grand Cru
From Green Flash Brewing – Grand Cru (In bottle) was available for the first time, November 15, 2008 at the 6th Anniversary Beer Festival. It will be available for general release on December 1st. Be one of the fist lucky people to try this special Belgian-inspired ale.
Green Flash Brewing – Grand Cru – 22 oz. bottle poured into a pint glass. 9.1% abv. Purchased at Beverages and More, Pasadena,CA.
Appearance: Dark brown with a 1/4 inch of tan head.
Aroma: Bananas and grape soda. I kid you not!
Taste: Bananas, vanilla, cola, spice, hops and dark chocolate.
Mouthfeel: Very fizzy and sparkly.
Overall: Fantastic, very complex and spicy. I have had older versions of this beer, and know for a fact it gets even more complex as it ages. This used to be a draft only offering from Green Flash Brewing, but it can now be found in 22 oz. bombers where Green Flash Beer is sold. Get one to drink and one to save for a year or two later…if you can!

Cheers!
P.S. Bananas and grape soda? ha ha. I will definitely find this beer!
