From New Glarus – If you dream of wheat this brew will get your toes tapping. Since 1995 we have brewed Bavarian style wheat beers exclusively for the same great state that grows and malts our own Wisconsin wheat. Appearance: Pours a cloudy orange gold with a quickly dissipating layer of pillowy foam.

Aroma: Banana custard, light pineapple and clove.

Taste: Clove, banana, orange rind,toasted wheat. Finishes with a slight twang, and some spicy bitterness.

Mouthfeel: Full bodied, aggressively fizzy.

Overall: A wonderful, bold Hefe.  Lots of fruit, toast and bitterness. The alcohol was so well hidden, I was shocked it was listed at  7.2% abv.
