Yazoo Brewing Seasonal Program Update
(Nashville,TN) – A good bit of folks use the first part of the new year to change some things to make themselves better. We are no different, as we have decided to make 2014 a year of getting better here at Yazoo. With that said, we have decided to get better at having fresh and tasty Yazoo Seasonal brews ready to go at a more reliable schedule.
We will have 2 new ones this year to join Fall Lager and Onward Stout. Yazoo Seasonal beers will also be switching to their very own 6 packs and the Brewmaster 4 packs will be going away. Yazoo Spring is a Helles bock style brewed with lager yeast, a mixture of traditional german malts – Pilsner, Munich and Cara Helles; hopped using German Perle, Hallertau and Hersbucker hops. It has a nice deep tan color with a slight bready sweet aroma that has a light mouth feel, finishing with a smooth malty and clean hop flavor. Quinn, our lead brewer here at Yazoo, created the recipe and the 6 pack and bottle artwork was taken from original artwork created by Linus’s mother.
Yazoo Mardi Crawl will be the party that kicks off the launch of Yazoo Spring Helles Bock draft, covering 7 cities in 7 different nights leading up to Fat Tuesday here in Nashville. Visit www.YazooMardicrawl.com for details!
The draft release of Yazoo Spring Seasonal will take place Wednesday, February 26th at your favorite draft spots (like our taproom!) with bottles and 6-packs following shortly thereafter throughout Tennessee and Mississippi!
As always, thank you all for the support of Yazoo Brew.
