Stone Brewing Co. News – Enjoy By Black IPA, Arrogant Bastard and Xocoveza

Enjoy By 11.27.15 Black IPA

When Stone retired under-performing Sublimely Self Righteous Black IPA earlier this year, they gave us fans a glimmer of hope with the promise of Enjoy By Black IPA. Well that day is here, but don’t get too excited. Stone has brewed an initial commerical batch of this beer and is testing the waters by only releasing it to California.We hope to get our hands on it shortly to see how it ranks up against SSR and 15th Anniversary Ale. Arrogant Bastard Brewing Co. ???

Stone has been releasing Double Bastard Ale since 1998 to many strong ale fan’s delight. A few years ago, they started creating different mixed packs and started making The Bastard Box last year. The Bastard Box consists of Arrogant Bastard Ale, Double Bastard Ale, OAKED Arrogant Bastard and a brand new member of the family, DEPTH-CHARGED Double Bastard Ale, which has espresso-beans added to it. Of note, Stone is now referring to a spin-off brand, Arrogant Bastard Brewing Co. much like their Stochasticity label.

Xocoveza Returns!

Last year, Stone hit a grand slam with Chris Banker / Stone / Insurgente Xocoveza Mocha Stout.  Many beer enthusiasts have become fond of the spiced stout style, and this was one of the tastiest and widely available ones on the market, that is while it lasted.  Since then, fans have been hammering Stone on social media, and it looks like they have listened.
