Sixpoint Craft Ales Update for End of Summer
Here’s the latest and greatest from Team Sixpoint. We hope to see you at some of these gatherings. There’s four of them this week alone. No excuses! Enjoy the rest of your summer!
Tuesday, August 25th from 6pm – 9pm, Against the Grain, 620 East 6th Street, Alphabet City, NYC, phone: 212-358-7064.
This great little beer bar is hosting Sixpoint and Southern Tier Brewery in a friendly little competition featuring three beers from each brewery. Sharpen your pencils and be prepared to write down your notes on each beer.
Wednesday, August 26th from 6pm – 9pm, George Keeley’s, 485 Amsterdam Avenue, Upper West Side, NYC, phone: 212-873-0251.
One of the best neighborhood beer joints will be clearing out their taps for a bunch of our beers. There will a featured cask ale, as well.
Thursday, August 27th @ 6pm – 9pm, Iron Monkey, 97 Greene Street, Jersey City, NJ, phone: 201-435-5756.
We’ll be crossing the river to the Jersey side to visit the Iron Monkey, a terrific restaurant with a rooftop garden and an outstanding beer selection. They’ll be pouring Bengali Tiger, Sweet Action, Righteous, Apollo, Brownstone, and the limited edition Belgian-style quadrupel – the Express.
Saturday, August 29th from 4pm – 8pm, Fresh Salt, 146 Beekman, Seaport/Financial district, NYC, phone: 212-962-0053.
This is hands-down one of our favorite bars in New York City. Jason will be putting three of our beers on tap and pouring one cask off the bar. Come visit the Seaport, take a leisurely stroll on the piers and relax with your favorite Sixpoint beer in their outdoor café.
Sunday, September 6th from 1pm – 7pm, Franklin Park, 618 St. John’s Place, Prospect Heights, BKLYN, phone: 718-975-0196.
Sixpoint Labor Day Weekend cookout in Franklin Park’s awesome outdoor beer garden. Jeremy Schaller will be manning the Schaller and Weber cart. Free brats for all! While supplies last, but there will be plenty. Beers too numerous to mention.
Tuesday, September 8th from 5pm – 9pm, L’asso, 41 Kenmare Street, Little Italy, NYC, phone: 212-219-2353.
L’asso is one of the best brick-over pizzerias in the city and we are proud to be served here. Scar and Rob are setting up Sixpoint on all six lines and anyone who orders a medium or large pizza gets a free growler of beer that is perfect for washing down your pizza.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, is last showing of the L Magazine Summerscreen series at the Ballfields at McCarren Park in Williamsburg. The brewers from Sixpoint will be pouring beers while “Fame” is shown. The movies are free and the beers are good! Happy Hour lasts from 6-7:30pm. Live music before each movie. Come on down and keep Craig, Ian, Dan and Evan company!
Cheers!
