Pipeworks Brewing Comments on Missing GABF This Year
While The Full Pint is sharing news of what the breweries are bringing to The Great American Beer Festival this year, there were many brewers that were shut out of participation due to the growing number of interested breweries trying to get in. One of those brewers is Pipeworks Brewing, makers of The Best Craft Beer of 2012, Citra Ninja. Co-Founder and Brewer Bee Jay Olson shares a special message to the craft beer community regarding their absence from this years festival. Cheers!
“We are among the many who didn’t make it in this year, though we really wanted to. We think it’s a bummer that we can not compete as we were looking forward to seeing how we rank against our comrades of craft brewing. We are all in this together, but it’s always fun to have some friendly competition. No use in crying over spilled milk though, we have amazing beer to make. Leave the milk to the cows… and milk stouts 😉 We hope everyone has fun and you better believe we’ll try to make the cut next year.”
