2016 RENEWALS
We’re quite excited to begin building our 2016 Barrel Society. Membership renewals for all current 2015 members begin today at 12PM EST. We hope you’ve fully enjoyed your membership and are ready to join us for another year of memorable, barrel-aged Night Shift beer. While we’re still finalizing some details, here’s a preview of the 2016 beers-in-planning:
Wheat wine aged in bourbon barrels
Imperial stout aged in apple brandy barrels
Smoked baltic porter aged in rum or bourbon barrels
Mixed ferment farmhouse ale aged with fruit in white wine barrels
Berliner weisse sour aged with brettanomyces and fruit in wine barrels
Flanders-style sour ale aged in red wine barrels
Sour dark ale aged in sherry or port barrels

As many of you noticed, we had some technical issues with the debut of our new online store (re: extra Cezanne bottles). We believe those issues are behind us, though we know to never fully trust a “fixed” technical issue. If the page crashes or gives you any issues today, please assume that we’re trying to fix it ASAP. Also remember that only 2015 members can purchase 2016 memberships until October 1, so there are enough memberships for everyone during that time period.

2015 UPDATES
We also want to remind members that there are still three more releases planned for this year. While we’re still uncertain about the release order, the remaining beers will be: a quad aged with cherries in red wine barrels; a 100% brett-fermented ale barrel-aged with blackberries; a mixed-ferment barrel-aged sour ale with citrus zest.
Finally, we will soon have some details about the 2015 Barrel Society End-Of-Year party for members (will most likely be January-of-2016, but you get the tone we’re trying to set). Last year was a total blast, with tons of awesome food, over twenty beers on tap (including all seven releases), a perfectly-timed Patriots victory on the big-screen, and just an awesome group of excited, fun, beer-loving people. We’re planning for more of the same this time around (including the Pats win). More info coming in October!
