Hangar 24 News – Upcoming Barrel Roll Beers and More
We’ve gotten a peak into what Hangar 24 Craft Brewery has in store for the rest of 2012. Find out what’s on deck for the heavy hitting Barrel Roll Series and more. Cheers!
Barrel Roll Series
Barrel Roll #5 – Chandelle – An oak-aged sour. Our famous Polycot aged with fresh apricots, brettanomyces yeasts and souring bacteria.
Barrel Roll #6 – Falling Leaf – An Amber Saison aged in oak barrels with brettanomyces.
Previously Released Beers That Are Coming Back
Polycot – late July – draught and 22oz bottles
Gourdgeous – (formerly “Pumpkin Porter”) – October – draught and 22oz bottles
Warmer – (formerly “Winter Warmer”, 2012 World Beer Cup Gold Medal Winner in Specialty Beer) – December, draught and 22oz bottles
**all three of the above beers are part of our Local Fields Series. Debuting this year, the Local Fields Series consists of 6 beers, each brewed only once per year featuring a different, locally grown ingredient.
Oktoberfest – draught and 4-packs
Pugachev’s Cobra – December – 750mL (The Full Pint got word that this will be an anual release going forward)
Canning Plans
“We’ll start with canning both Orange Wheat and Helles (Helles has never been offered in any package other than draught prior to cans). In true H24 style, we’ll be releasing cans in the seemingly opposite-of-optimal season (winter!) but we’re looking forward to getting the canning line all dialed in for a big can-filled spring!”
