Full Sail Session Premium Lager Voted Best Craft Lager
The Full Pint loves to have fun with our “Best of Polls”, whether it be for the best hazy IPA, the best pastry stout or our latest poll The Best Craft Lager. We will look back on 2018 as the year of the craft lager, even though many craft breweries have been making some very delicious and underrated lagers for quite some time now.
With over three dozen nominated craft lagers from around the country, Full Sail Session Premium Lager won the poll. Full Sail Session Lager won and we can completely understand why. Around the same time we launched The Full Pint in 2007, Full Sail pushed this beer to market. This beer or as some may refer to as a product, was the perfect combination of great beer, nostalgia and marketing. You have a beer that pays homage to yesteryears lager, Lucky Lager in particular, with the stubby bottles and the game on the underside of the crown, it’s affordable and delicious. While it’s not the trendy lager we are seeing at our local tasting rooms, it can be found almost anywhere and has grown a big following over the last ten years. We reached out to Full Sail Brewing to comment on this fun and historic win.
“Here at Full Sail, we love our Session Premium Lager and we’re so grateful for our fans and supporters who inspire us to keep brewing solid beers every day. Session Lager has won more than 20 gold medals, but the truest form of flattery is when The Full Pint’s mix of casual beer drinkers, brewery industry members, and die-hard beer consumers vote us Best Craft Lager, not only once, but twice.
With 40+ craft lagers nominated and in the running—and some delicious ones at that—we were blown away that Session Premium Lager received more than 30% of the votes. Session Premium Lager is crisp, smooth and refreshing with plenty of flavor, and we’re really excited that it’s a favorite go-to beer for so many people. Thanks to The Full Pint and to everyone who drinks our craft lager! Cheers, Brewmaster Greg Doss and the Full Sail Crew”
