“Decadence 2012 is a Belgian Style Quadruple Ale ringing in at 12%.  Bottles are being released exclusively in the tasting room right now.  Higher end accounts and bottle shops will start receiving bottles in the coming weeks (via distribution).”

Over the weekend, we saw that Bine and Vine, a bottle shop in San Diego, showing Barrel Aged Wee Heavy available.  As far as we knew, this was a brewery only release, and one that was sold online last month. So we asked AleSmith to clarify.

“In regards to BA Wee Heavy, we specifically held back a certain amount of bottles of this release to offer to select accounts.  We’re also selling a very limited amount in the tasting room on a daily basis.”
