(San Diego,CA) – Yes, your wishes have finally come true! Our legendary Barrel-Aged Speedway Stout with Vietnamese Coffee will be available in bottles for the first time.
AleSmith is proud to release this long-awaited barrel-aged version of our Russian Imperial Stout with Vietnamese coffee as part of our 2014 Reserve Series to coincide with San Diego Beer Week.
BARREL-AGED VIETNAMESE SPEEDWAY STOUT
We traditionally brew Vietnamese coffee, known as cà phê sữa đá, with a phin-style filter that gently percolates water through ground coffee. The result is a chocolaty and bold tasting coffee that perfectly complements the notes of oak, vanilla, and bourbon in this massive barrel-aged stout.

Starting Monday, November 10th at 11:00am, you will be able to purchase up to four (4) bottles of Barrel-Aged Vietnamese Speedway Stout. Please note; you will need to use your name to purchase each bottle. Once you place your order your name will be registered and any duplicate sales to the same name will be voided. We want to make this as fair as possible!
Please, USE ONLY YOUR NAME TO PURCHASE THE BOTTLES. YOUR PURCHASE IS JUST FOR YOUR BOTTLES. YOU CANNOT PURCHASE BOTTLES UNDER SOMEONE ELSE’S NAME OR FOR SOMEONE ELSE. IF YOU BUY THEM, YOU MUST PICK THEM UP.
Bottles can be picked up starting Saturday, November 15th at the AleSmith Tasting Room. Bottles can be retrieved during tasting room hours from Saturday, November 15th through Sunday, January 18th 2015. (Tasting Room Hours: Mon-Fri: 12pm-9pm, Sat: 11am-9pm & Sun: 11am-7pm.) **Any bottles not retrieved by SUNDAY, JANUARY 18th will be surrendered back to the brewery (sorry, no exceptions).**
Please DO NOT PURCHASE BOTTLES UNLESS YOU ARE SURE YOU CAN MAKE IT TO THE BREWERY BY January 18, 2015.
Proxies will not be allowed for this release, you will need to show your proof of purchase (in the form of confirmation email from Brown Paper Tickets) and valid ID to retrieve your bottles. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. This means you will NOT be able to pick up anyone else’s bottles, and we will not release the bottles to you without a confirmation and valid ID matching the name on the sale! IF YOU PURCHASE THE BOTTLE, YOU HAVE TO PICK IT UP!
Please ensure you only pick up bottles during the following dates/times: Mon-Fri: 12pm-9pm, Sat: 11am-9pm & Sun: 11am-7pm. Please do not purchase bottles until you’ve read the terms and conditions, and can ensure you will be able to pick up your bottles by SUNDAY, JANUARY 18th, 2015!

Join us on Saturday, November 15th in the AleSmith Brewing Company Tasting Room for the Barrel-Aged Vietnamese Speedway Release Party. The Tasting Room will be open from 11:00am to 9:00pm. This event is open to the public. You do not have to purchase bottles to attend the event. However, if you did previously purchase bottles, this will be the first day you can pick up your bottles (please note, we will not have any bottles of this specialty release available for sale in the tasting room).
