Against the Grain 2016 Bo & Luke Release Details
(Louisville, KY) – This barrel aged imperial stout boasts a recipe inspired by our beloved spirit, Kentucky Bourbon. Bo & Luke employs the essential ingredients in bourbon and is conditioned in freshly dumped Kentucky Bourbon barrels for up to 120 days. The resulting beer is a dark, smoky, and delicious imperial stout that has anyone who tries it, reeling for more.
Bo & Luke is a collaboration beer first brewed in the summer of 2012 with Dutch brew master of Brouwerji de Molen, Menno Oliver. Oliver has a reputation for being one of the best brewers in craft beer world. Couple his and our expertise for creating big, bold beers, as well as, our gumption for pushing the boundaries of flavor and you’ve got a beer that “beats all you ever saw!”
This year we will be releasing Bo & Luke on October 27th at our brewpub downtown. A limited number of 750 ml bottles will be available for purchase, as well as, special 4-packs that include three variants. This year’s variants are themed “wood aged around the world.” They include Bo & Luke aged in tequila barrels, rum barrels, and Islay scotch barrels. Pre-sale for 4-packs will begin at 2:00 PM and open sales begin at 5:00 PM. Bo & Luke will also be on draft and Menno Oliver will be there too!
Limited availability ain’t no joke, so we offer pre-sale tickets (available here) to reserve a 4-pack online. Pre-sale tickets go on sale October 1st at 10:00 AM. They go quick, so be prepared!
NOTE
Pre-sale tickets are a reservation of the featured product, the Bo & Luke 4-pack. It includes Bo & Luke and the three variants.
We don’t take pre-sale orders in-house or over the phone. It must be done online.
The remaining supply of variants will be sold on a first come first serve basis at 5:00 PM.
