(Buellton, CA) — Every September, Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company hosts a party called FigtoberFest in honor of the traditional OktoberFest celebration. This year they will be hosting the party on Saturday, September 24th from 1pm to close at their taprooms in Arroyo Grande, Buellton, Los Olivos, Santa Barbara, Santa Maria and Westlake Village. Admission is free and everyone is welcome to attend.
“Who doesn’t love an excuse to put on lederhosen and drink great beer?” exclaims co-founder and Vice-President, Jim Dietenhofer. “Hosting FigtoberFest at all six locations allows everyone to participate in the festivities.”
Stein deals will be available for $10 which includes a souvenir stein and your first fill of their award-winning FigtoberFest lager. Enjoy FigtoberFest lager in pints, mugs or steins for only $5 all day long. New specialty releases will also be available for purchase.
Contests such as stein and keg-holding contests will be hosted at each taproom with a chance to win prizes. Dress up in your OktoberFest best—think lederhosen and dirndls—for a chance to win a costume contest.
Each taproom will also be selling German food such as bratwurst and pretzels. Enjoy festive music while you dine, taprooms will be playing festive music all day. Rock out to The Caverns in Santa Barbara (5-8pm), Matt Staska (1:30-4:30pm) and Soul Cats (6:30-8:30pm) in Buellton, Three for All (3-6pm) in Santa Maria and Ghost/Monster (8:30-11pm) in Arroyo Grande.
