World Beer Festival Invades Cleveland July 13, 2013
(Cleveland, OH)– A craft beer tasting event unlike anything the city of Cleveland has seen before, the World Beer Festival dedicates itself to educating the Ohio beer community, while bringing together the brewers and the beer that have shaped today’s craft beer culture. “Over 70 domestic and international breweries will bring more than 60 unique styles of beer to sample at the inaugural World Beer Festival-Cleveland,” said Daniel Bradford, Publisher of All About Beer Magazine and producer of the World Beer Festival. “Beer lovers will be guided on one of a kind adventure through the world of craft beer as part of our Art of Beer Village, to learn styles, tastes, pairings and more.”
The festival takes place Saturday, July 13 at North Coast Harbor Dock 32, Cleveland Browns North Parking Lot. General Admission tickets cost $40 and include a tasting glass and 40 taste tickets for 2-oz samples from over 200 world-class beers. VIP tickets cost $75 and include a tasting glass with 40 taste tickets, a private hospitality area with private bathrooms, an upscale food buffet and commemorative glass. VIPs will have early access into the festival beginning at 12 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at www.worldbeerfestival.com.
In addition to the beer from dozens of breweries, local food trucks will provide delicious eats; beer experts will offer insight during educational seminars; and Great Lakes Brewing Co. will educate patrons on how to take “the farm to the table” as part of its Urban Farming Initiative.

Attendees will have the opportunity to sit in on seminars given by some of the finest beer professionals in the industry. A learning station that focuses on the element of beer making will allow patrons to sample local ingredients and cask ale from local breweries. The Art of Beer Village supports All About Beer Magazine’s mission to expand the beer community by providing an essential experience for a life enriched by beer.
Sponsored by Great Lakes Brewing Co., the Art of Beer Village will focus on Great Lakes’ Urban Farming Initiative, educating festival attendees on how to pair food with beer and create recipes from their own garden. The Art of Beer Village provides a patron experience that not only showcases this initiative but also moving the farm to table through chef demonstrations. Demonstrations will be held at 2 and 4pm, while food and beer samplings take place throughout the entire festival.
“We introduced the Art of Beer Village to our Raleigh festival in 2012, with great success” said Bradford. “Our goal is to dive further into beer education, and encourage beer lovers to deepen their understanding of the trade. The Art of Beer Village component does just this. It is designed to entertain, educate and surprise an audience that knows and loves craft beer.”
